Hi there. I’m Shobie Spear, the owner of Colorado Custom Built.
As a husband and father building my own family, I’m passionate about creating homes that create a space for you and your family to thrive.
I grew up on Colorado construction sites with my father and grandfather, learning hands-on the ins and outs of making a home safe, stable, and strong enough to withstand Colorado’s wild weather. Frostline considerations, high-altitude building requirements, how our weather affects everything from foundation to framing—I've been doing this long enough to know what works and what doesn't.
When you work with me, you’re getting me answering your calls, learning your kids’ names, responding to questions quickly, and keeping you in the loop on the entire process. No middleman, no account manager, no getting passed around.
I'm not here to upsell you on things you don't need or rush you through decisions that deserve time. I'm here to help you build a home that fits how your family actually lives—a home that tells your story. That's it.
